I am the chosen one...

I just started a newsletter for the ICS department MA students. But now the department head asked me to help market the ICS department and the Univ of Leeds. Waiting for more news... "It's good to be the king"... by the way.. who said that.

Sleeping in public places again...

Same thing happened to me again as my Starbucks adventure last week. I waited for Freyja again but now in a bar called D-Fusion. I got a cold pint of Fosters beer and sat down reading about the global conflicts over water in The Independent. But then I got sligtly sleepy, and was dozing off abit holding a phone in my hand and the beer on the table. I was not asleep, but dozing...I was mostly worrying that the staff at the bar would throw me out like a common drunk, even though I had only had 3 sips of the beer. But Freyja came and said that she had seen me sleeping against the window.

Jorvik Viking Festival

Just came back from the Jorvik Viking Festival. It was great to see York, beutiful city and the festival great. At the final show, the big Viking battle there were a few people talking, and they had T-shirts on, that said, "we are the best viking shows in England" being all negative and dissing the other Vikings for being unrealistic and stuff like that. This was depressing and I was very close to poiting out to them that they where simply pissed off for not being invited to this event.

Newsletter meeting tomorrow... lets see what happens.

My Starbucks adventure

Just came from school with a backpack and a bag full of books. Went to Starbucks on Briggate and ordered a medium black coffee...Medium coffee is biiiig. I was gonna wait for Freyja who just finished in about an hour. I came in opened a copy of The Times and started to read. Then I almost fell asleep, sat there almost slepping into a huge cup of coffee and an English newspaper. Felt good. Almost asleep, and trying to read and drink coffee and wait at the same time. I dont think anyone noticed...But after Freyja was longer at school than she expected, I had read The Times to bits. And the result is that i dont want more coffee today, and I am seriously thinking of downloading the new Neil Diamond album. That is weird.

The weekend of nothing

The weekend of nothing... I did nothing in my essay as I was supposed to do, but it is ok, I will start fresh on monday. Other than that Machester United lost against Liverpool in the FA cup. They never had a chance, no FA cup for them...nothing. Suffered over the game on TV, and saw Alan Smith break his foot. But not close up, just from a distance, so that was not as discusting as it could have been. He wont play for a year...nothing. Damn this is depressing. Lionel Ritchie speaking about his life on tv now, mentiones everything exept his drug abuse and violence against his wife. Beats her into nothing....sometimes into a pulp...when he is feeling generous. Freyja went this morning to the farmers market in Leeds city market, and I asked her to buy some honey sticks, but she came home with......you guess it.

ps.. I was thinking about going to see the Rolling Stones play, but the cheapest standing tickets are 40 pounds (stadium tour) and the better ones and the standing ones are 150 pounds. If that is not being robbed in broad daylight by old men who have not had a hit since before I was born, I dont know nothing.

The Wardrope

Just came home. Went with Freyja and Lana and Xun to The Wardrope. It was a jamsession, and we heard jazz, blues, funk and everything inbetween. Had a few beers and a great time. Yesterday me and Freyja went with Lana to the Roundhay Fox pub, for a traditional english Sunday roast. We will do both again as soon as possible. Other than that, not much to say... school busy and lots of work to be done. Snorri
